In this episode, we are joined by boat racers and Stock Racing team members Gordy Jennings of Jennings Motorsports and Paul Fitzgerald of Southern Thunder Marine, who recap their recent trip to Australia to compete in the Blown Alcohol Displacement (BAD) Boat Challenge. The two veterans handle the engine tuning and maintenance for Mike Stock’s El Cid K-boat, driven by Duff Daily. The team was joined by a second American entry, Mr. Big Stuff Racing and driver Ty Newton, to do battle against 28 blown boats from Australia and New Zealand. It was two tough weekends of racing for the Yanks.

Jennings and Fitzgerald delve into the logistics of racing overseas, the dynamics of their seasoned team, and the challenges they faced during the races. We chat about the Australian racers and their unique boats and driving styles. But mostly, we talk about how much fun the trip was.
